My inspiration in designing a floral arrangement comes from the base product. When I look at a vase, ceramic pot, or other item, I can immediately visualize the type of floral arrangement that needs to go with it. I always have lots to choose from, as my garage, which is my workshop, and looks like a Michaels Arts & Crafts store, is filled from pillar to post, with plastic bins full of base product and florals. Etsy is the first on-line craft site that I signed onto, but it’s a tough market for me to sell in. I’m doing very well on other on-line web sites, but stay on with Etsy, because it does bring me some sales, and I’m approached with lots of other opportunities for my arrangements.
Between managing all of my on-line businesses, my involvement in a large social group (700 membership)in St George, for which I was just nominated President of, and two new 4 month old maltese puppies, I keep quite busy, but have had very little time to get involved in developing a blog or twitter site. I do have a facebook site, but haven’t had time to do much with it. I’m lucky that I find a few minutes here and there, to go on the promotion site on Etsy, to try and get my new products out there for all to see. There are so very many talented people on Etsy, each with their own unique signature style. I’m proud to be a part of all of this talent.
