Hello everyone!
My name is Amy and I live in Little Old New Zealand!
I am an artist of fanciful whimsy and nonsense! I love imagination and adore fairytales which I think you will notice when you see my artwork!
Art is my passion and my hobby and I am currently working very hard to make it my career.
I am engaged to a wonderful man who is very supportive and encouraging and I am very lucky to have him in my life. We also have a fat little cat who thinks she owns everything! She is not very supportive nor is she encouraging but I am lucky to have her to!
What items do you carry in your shop?
I Sell Original Art Prints of my own Paintings and paper crafts such as Postcards, Up-Cycled Greeting Cards and Recipe Cards which all feature my Whimsical Artworks!
How did you decide on your shop name?
I am an Artist named Amy so artofamy was created!
Its both introductory and explanatory plus its easy to remember!

My Thoughts
Okay so I am in love! Amy’s art is some of the best art that I have seen. Amy draws these girls in a creative light that only she can do. I have never seen anything so beautiful! I also love that her art can be found on so many neat and useful items such as recipe cards and post cards. ( just to name a few)
For my review Amy sent me a a Seasonal Postcard pack along with some recipe cards. I love the look of them both!
Post Cards
Amy found the most perfect fitted picture for each season and then added a scrapbook feel the cards. For example she added leaves to the Fall Postcard and flowers to the spring and summer cards; Very creative and colorful. I also love the Font style on the back of the card!
Recipe Cards
I am in love with the recipe cards. They are my favorite! The cards that Amy sent to me have a girl on them that looks like her dress is made out of frosting and she has a cherry in her hair! I love it! They are also a beautiful pink color with lace trim on the side. Very classy! I can’t wait to find the perfect recipe to put on these cards as just any ol’ recipe will not work for me. The recipe that I find must be as delicious as the look of these cards!
As usual I sent a postcard and recipe card in the mail to my cousin Brandy (giveaway blogdom) so here is what Brandy had to say…
I am LOVING these recipe cards. They are very sturdy and made from good cardstock. The designs are adorable and something that I would love to have in my kitchen. The designs of the girls are also very unique and something that your neighbor won’t have. I am picky about my ingredients having their own line and so that is a downfall for me but the artwork makes up for it. The cards are big enough that you could put two ingredients on a line and it wouldn’t be crowded so I would make that work. These would be a great gift for any cook in your life!
Postcards – Postcards are a great way to send a little note to a friend and so I use them a lot. These postcards are something that I would be happy to invest in for my girlfriends. A variety of pictures are offered and I’m sure that I could find a design for every friend in my life. I just can’t get over how cute her artwork is!
