My favorite thing to do in the morning is roll out of bed and place my feet into nice warm slippers! I love slippers. But I am picky about what slippers I love. I have to have a heel on my slippers so my foot does not get cold. I also do not want them to be too thick; I want my foot to breath. Although, the big bulky Scooby doo, penguin, or Hello Kitty was fun as a kid they no longer let me have the freedom of tucking one foot under me comfortably when I sit. (I know, I know, it is bad for my back to sit like that.)
Where are you from? and a little bit about you
My name is Cari. I’m a wife to Josh and a stay-at-home Mom of 2 adorable boys…Dakotah, 5 & Kaiden 2. I started crocheting as a “pregnancy project” while pregnant with Kaiden. All I wanted to do was make him a blanket, but of course it didn’t stop there. I ended up loving it so much that I continued to make things.
What items do you carry in your shop?
The 3 main items you’ll find in my shop year round are my mary jane slippers, mug cozies and headbands. During the winter time you’ll also find scarves, cowls and hats.
Can you remember the first item you ever made?
Yes, my first crochet project was a blanket, hat and booties for Kaiden.
What items in your shop do you most enjoy making and why?
That’s a hard one! I can honestly say that I really enjoy making everything. I get so excited about every item I make.

Anything else you would like us to know?
I love what I do! I love the fact that I can be a Mom AND have a business. It’s the best of both worlds. I really put so much thought and love into everything I make. My goal is basically to put a smile on the customer’s face.
Cari is so sweet and easy to work with. She will make your slippers custom just for you! I was privileged to receive a pair of Mary Jane espresso and turquoise slippers. I spent a long time trying to choose a pair to review. There were SO many that I loved. It was hard to pick one! So I asked Cari to choose for me. I narrowed it down as much as I could and let her send me whatever she wanted! She chose the perfect pair! The day that I received them I also received a book I needed to review. I was so happy they came on the same day. I got to go home and put on my comfy slippers and cuddle up with a good book. Cari’s slippers are not only beautiful but they are very functional. My feet were nice and warm without having to deal with big bulky slippers, slippers that were too thick, or slippers that did not keep my feet warm. I know that these slippers would be perfect for anyone! I would recommend you buy a pair for yourself and while you’re at it purchase some for your Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and friends! Who wouldn’t love a beautiful pair of handmade slippers!
