How did you decide on your shop name?
The name of my shop came from a word on a sign in a department store. So I decided to call my shop The Crochet Loft. I wanted the title to be broad so I can create different things if I change how I set up my shop. I also thought it gave more of a modern feeling. I did not want customer to think it was old fashioned because this wass NOT your Grandmother’s Shop.
How did you learn to crochet?
My mom taught me how to crohcet when I was 8 years old and I enjoyed ever since.
Why did you start your business?
I started this business because I remember doing a few craft shows. This gives me opportunities to fullfil my dreams.
Do you have anything new you plan on adding to your store?
I plan to add new things to my shop during the different seasons. For example, in the spring and summer I made ipod nano cozy, sodapop can cozy, and water bottle cozy. Finally, in the fall and winter months I plan to make scarves, fingerless gloves, and wide headbands to cover the ears.
What is your favorite thing about being a seller?
My favorite thing being a seller is having the opporturnity to share my lifetime hobby to the customers and the WORLD.
Do you have a blog, twitter, or facebook page?
My blog site is http://www.thecrochetloft.blogspot.com/
What inspires you to create the items in your shop?
I get my inspirations from the colors that I pass by a shop or in nature. The colors in my items make a bold statement and tells what feelings I have though my creativity.
What items in your shop do you most enjoy making and why?
