Some days don’t you just want to tie your hair up and out of the way? I come across those days often but still want it to look cute and fun. That is why I’m excited to tell you about today’s giveaway! Leyla at TooMuchOfAGoodThing is offering one lucky reader a chance to win a crocheted headband in winner’s choice of color!

Where are you from? and a little bit about you

I’m Leyla. Yes, like the Clapton song. I’m from beautiful Central Oregon where the sun shines 300 days a year. I live in Salem right now (just south of Portland)….where it rains 300 days a year. I might be exaggerating a little bit but that’s what it feels like right now. I hate the rain. My husband and I will eventually move back to Central Oregon. Speaking of….we got married six months ago. He’s pretty cool. I like being married to my best friend. Plus he’s my biggest supporter and the world’s best salesman….I’m going to have to start paying him a commission for the wholesale accounts he gets for Too Much of a Good Thing.

How did you decide on your shop name?

I picked the name years ago even though I’ve only been selling my cards and crochet items for a few months. I found a rubber stamp with the phrase “Too Much of a Good Thing is Simply Wonderful” and knew immediately that was what I would call my business…if I ever actually started one. Well, here I am!

Do you have anything new you plan on adding to your store?
My greeting cards change constantly…it just depends on my stock of paper, upcoming holidays, and my mood on any particular day. And I love crocheting….so if I happen to come across a pattern and love it, it will probably end up in my shop eventually.

What items in your shop do you most enjoy making and why?

Depends on the day. Sometimes I love making cards, others I would much rather crochet. The upsides to crochet: I can take it with me wherever I go, and watching a movie and crocheting on a rainy day is pretty much perfect. The upside to cards: they sell better 🙂

Anything else you would like us to know?
Random and completely unnecessary things about me:
– At my day job, I’m a political fundraiser
– It’s quite possible that I’m addicted to espresso and Diet Coke.
– I hate rain. I might have said that already.

Krista’s Thoughts

I have my hair in a headband almost every day. I just like the way my hair looks and it is out of my face. What I hate is how much both sides of my head hurt after wearing a headband for a long period of time. That is why I was so excited to review the red crocheted headband that Leyla made me.

I always start my review as soon as the package arrives. Leyla has a personalized stamp (mentioned above) that was stamped on the outside of my envelope. I loved that idea. It makes her items stand out right from the get go!

When I got inside I ran to the bathroom to try out the red headband. It was so quick and easy and looks beautiful. I just wrapped it around my head twice and then tied it at the bottom. I’m in love with the way it looks and I have now found a way to eliminate my terrible headaches from my previous headbands! YAY!

I would recommend Leyla’s headbands to all of my wonderful readers. I know that you would not be disappointed! I am also excited to get one for my little girl because I know that the little crocheted flowers will look so pretty in her hair!
