Now let’s learn a little about Colleen……

Where are you from? and a little bit about you

I am originally from Niagara Falls, NY and spent the next 32 yrs in Calif. I have been in SW Idaho for 18 yrs now. I am married with 5 kids between me and my hubby, Andy. 4 girls and 1 boy. I also have 4 grandsons who you can imagine are the loves of my life.

How did you decide on your shop name?

My shop name was easy..I AM Irish..my name IS Colleen and I DO collect a lot!!

Why did you start your business?

I had wanted to do this for a while but finally got the time and peace of mind to start on Jan 31.

Do you have anything new you plan on adding to your store?

I do plan to start adding some old womans clothing patterns that I have from my mother-in-law. I plan on adding vintage doiles and table clothes, etc.

What is your favorite thing about being a seller?

What inspires you to collect such beautiful and unique items?

My mother and sister started me on collecting years ago. Dishes and cup and saucers. I started with Fenton bells and Shoes years ago, as well. Now I collect just about anything with roosters, apples, cruets, etc.

What items in your shop do you most enjoy and why?

I am really enjoying the vintage farm finds (especially items from my husbands family’s dairy farm…which they sold 10 yrs ago). I also really like the vintage tray with the flamingos on it. Great fun stuff!!
