My Babies First Month With Members Mark Advanced Infant Formula

undefinedSome of you might remember my post last month about the Sams Club Members Mark Advantage Infant Formula. I told you all about how I was stocking up before the birth of my daughter. Well I am so happy to say that on November 6th at 9:38am she was born! She weighed in a whopping 9lbs 6.6oz. That was a huge difference compared to my first daughter who weighed 7lbs 9oz at birth. Little L is perfect and we would not change a thing about her!

Meeting Sister For the First Time

The first two nights were tough with this little one. All she wanted to do was eat! Before we left the hospital the nurses weighed her and we discovered that our little one had lost almost a full pound. Now it is very common for newborns to lose weight after they are born but she had almost lost too much. Because of this the on call pediatrician advised us that we should supplement. The doctor had the nurses get some of their formula that is on hand and I must admit that our little one would not take the bottle. She hated it!

The doctor went ahead and let us come home even though our daughter had lost more weight then they wanted. But we had to make an appointment with our pediatrician for a weight check. A week after our little was born she was only 8lbs 11oz. Still not where they wanted her to be. We were advised to supplement her even more because formula has more calories then breast milk. Luckily we had the Members Mark Advantage 1 Infant Formula on hand. We brought her home and tried out our formula. Our daughter loved it and I am happy to say that with a few supplemented bottles a day she is finally putting on the weight that she needs. At three weeks she was still not up to birth weight but she is finally really close and I owe that to the Members Mark Advanced Infant Formula.

  5. I formula fed too. You might get some crap about it, but don’t let that bother you. My kids were alway uber healthy and bright. It worked for me and Member’s Mark formula seems great for your family.

  6. Congratulations on your new bundle of joy! I remember having to supplement my kids with formula – they were just too thirsty for me to handle by myself!
