I have tried to get my daughter to sit down and watch The Hobbit with me several times. She is very into fantasy stories so I have always known that this is a story she would love. But, the movie has always been too scary for her and so she never gets very far into it before she ask’s me to shut it off. Recently I was able to review The Hobbit and The Return of the Kings animated DVD’s. I knew that I would finally have a way for my daughter to watch these beloved classics. It did not take long for my daughter to be captivated by the story of Bilbo Baggins. This animated series is cute and a great adventure for the kiddos!

  1. yes I have read the books and seen the movie,,with 5 kids and 13 grandkids it would have been hard not to have

  2. I’ve read the books and seen the movie. So excited for the next one, though I’m finding it a bit too scary for younger kids. So it’s nice to see the animated version that the whole family can enjoy together.
