Chicken Soup for the Soul Reader’s Choice #Review and #Giveaway – 3 Winners – US and Canada

Chicken Soup for the Soul

Reader’s Choice

I have grown up with Chicken Soup for the Soul books. As a teenager I really enjoyed them because I could read stories of others who were going through the same things I was going through. I found them inspiring and reading these stories really helped me to know that I was not alone.

Recently I was sent a Chicken Soup for the Soul Reader’s Choice book for the purpose of this review. I was excited for this copy because it was not just a copy of compiled stories but this time it was stories that had touched thousands of readers.

Another thing I love about the stories in this book is that you will read about people who was touched or learned things about their own life from reading these Chicken Soup for the Soul books….for example a mother whose daughter found her after reading her mothers story in a previous Chicken Soup for the Soul book!! Amazing!!

On The Back

We’re 20! And as part of our 20th-anniversary celebration, we asked our readers to tell us how their favorite Chicken Soup for the Soul stories affected them. You’ll find the stories in pairs in this volume – a new story written just for this book, followed by the story or poem that the reader found so inspiring in one of our past 250+ titles.

You’ll read about the military wife who was mentally prepared for “the phone call” the morning after she read a story about a soldier who lost his limbs. You’ll read about the Vietnam vet who discovered that one of the soldiers he rescued went on to win the Super Bowl four times, which he learned decades later in a Chicken Soup for the Soul story. You’ll read about a birth mother whose 23-year-old found her through one of our stories. All in all, you’ll read 100 stories about epiphanies, attitude adjustments, great advice, motivational tips, doing good, and the amazing connections that people made as a result of these stories.

How would you like to win a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul Reader’s Choice? I am happy to say that 3 lucky US and/or Canadian readers will be able to do just that! Good Luck!

  1. I wouldn’t say any story has ever changed my life. I would say that there have been many stories that have moved me so much to cause me to make changes in my life . 🙂

  2. I have always enjoyed reading these good books. I pass them on to my daughter when I am done reading them.

  3. I’m not sure one has changed my life, but I do like to read them If nothing else, they are inspiring.

  4. Yes, When I was a teenager I read Chicken soup for a woman’s soul. reading the stories opened my eyes to wisdom and insight of life that I hadn’t yet endured. It made me realize as a teen that there was more to life then what outfit I was going to wear to school or hanging out with friends. My mom had bought me the book, now that I think about it I wonder if that’s what she wanted all along 🙂

  5. Yes actually they have ! I learned how to fully hand over to God what is too much to handle by myself. It changed how I deal with things in my every day life. So yes I guess I can say they have.
