Super Duper Publications

In my opinion the best gift you could ever give a child is the gift of education. That is why I love the Super Duper Publication company so much.

Education is something that children will take with them for the rest of their lives and a lot of parents are on the lookout for the best educational products for their children. Recently I was able to review a few products from Super Duper Publications. I was excited to get my hands on some new products that could help educate the children that are in my home on a daily basis.

As most of you know I tend to lots of children during the day. One of them is my own but the others are little ones that I watch during the day for a few family members. With all these kids in my home I am constantly on the look out for the latest and greatest products that will not only help to entertain the kiddo’s during the day but will also leave some lasting knowledge in their heads. A few of the fun games that can be found on Super Duper Publications are listed below! Check them out! There are some amazing games and ideas!

Just for Laughs –

One of the games that I was able to review is Just for Laughs. This was the perfect game because my daughter has recently taken an interest in jokes. She is often running around the house telling joke after joke. The only downfall to this is she is usually screwing up the punch line or she is telling a joke that she don’t fully understand.

With Just for Laughs the kids will be able to read 100 different jokes. But that is not all.. Just for Laughs will also help your child understand the double meaning of words, phrases and sentences. The game will also break down each joke into sections that will better help your child understand why the joke is so funny.

Just for Laughs is recommended for ages 8+ and has 3 different categories of jokes. Each category is broken up into colors that will help your child better understand the multiple meaning words, phrases and sentences.

Vocabulary Chipper Chat –

The first thing I can say about this game is that there are A LOT of pieces. It made me a little nervous at first because usually small pieces never make it back into the boxes….but the little pieces are magnetic which made cleaning up EASY!

Ok…so what is Vocabulary Chipper Chat? It is a game that is recommended for grades K-5 that will better teach them vocabulary and language skills that will be important for them to learn as they grow.

Vocabulary Chipper Chat contains 12 different color game boards with 5 of each color. That makes it a total of 60 different game boards your kiddo’s can play on!

The different categories include:

Analogies, Associations, Attributes, Categories, Compare & Contrast, Context Clues, Figurative Language, Functions, Homonyms, Homophones, Synonyms & Antonyms and Verbs! With these 60 different boards there are also 360 different cards to go along with these categories. Everything is easy to understand and they are all color coded to help you know what cards go with what boards.

So what will the kids do with these fun boards and cards? Each card will have questions on them for the kids to answer. When they have answered they will roll the dice to find out how many magnetic chips they can place on their boards. Once their boards are filled with the chips they can use the magnetic chip picker-upper and easily pick up all the chips they have on their boards!

Which One Doesn’t Belong? –

This is my favorite out of all three games. Why? Because there is a cool light that will help you determine if your answer was correct of not.

Which One Doesn’t Belong is for ages 6+ and contains two levels of cards. Each card contains a list of words on them. But, one of the words does not go with the rest. It is up to the kiddo’s to figure out exactly what word that is. Then when they think they know….they can use a handy little light that will reveal what word did not fit. As soon as the light hits the card you will see a red dot next to the word that does not fit!

There are 100 cards in this game with 200 activities that are broken up into two levels.

How would you like to win a Super Duper Publication game of your own? I am happy to say that one lucky Heavenly Savings reader will be able to do just that! Giveaway open to US and Canada and you will be able to choose one of the six games listed above! Good Luck!
