Disney’s The Great Mouse Detective Movie Review!

My Thoughts on The Great Mouse Detective

I love introducing these great classic Disney Animated movies to my little girl. The Great Mouse Detective is a Disney movie that was kinda like new to me as well. That is rare as I think that I know every song and line in almost all of Disney’s great classics. But, as far as The Great Mouse Detective goes this was not a movie that was owned by my parents when I was a child and I believe that I only seen it once as a small child.

For the past two years my daughter has had a fascination with detectives and spy’s. This movie was a perfect addition to our Disney Collection and the fact that this great mouse is a detective made it all the more better.

In The Great Mouse Detective takes place in London in 1897. In the movie a little girl mouse Olivia sets out on an adventure to find her missing father Hiram. Watch as Olivia finds an amazing detective Basil of Baker Street and convinces him to help her find her father the toymaker. Will he take this case that he thinks holds no interest for him? Of course he does once he learns that his arch-nemesis Professor Ratigan could be the culprit behind the missing toymaker.

On The Back

For the first time ever on Blu-ray, you and your family can unlock the clues and go on a great big adventure with Disney’s clever little hero. From the creators of The Princess And The Frog and The Little Mermaid comes the greatest little mystery in history in this 2-Disc Combo Pack.

When the diabolical Professor Ratigan kidnaps London’s master toymaker, the brilliant master of disguise Basil of Baker Street and his trusted sidekick Dawson try to elude the ultimate trap and foil the perfect crime.

With perfect picture, perfect sound and 2 ways to watch, this family classic on Disney Blu-ray proves big heroes come in small packages!
