I thought I had read and heard of every Dr. Seuss book known to man….but I was wrong. I had never before read or seen Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax before. Recently I was sent a copy of The Lorax movie for the purpose of this review.

My husband was very excited when this DVD arrived. I guess this was one of his favorite books as a child and when he seen we were going to review it he wanted to take it over to his Mom’s house and watch it with her as a family. This was a great idea to me so away we went!

The Lorax is a movie that will really make you think about the way we treat our world. In this movie you will find that greed never wins out in the end. 1. I saw this in the movie theater and bawled my eyes out! Such a good movie. Not sure the kids liked it as much as I did though.

  2. My daughter is usually pretty loud about half way trough all of the films we take the children to see, so we just put it in our Blockbuster at Home queue. The kids we HUGE fans and I think I might be too. A few of my coworkers at dish were a bit disappointed that the story was a little bit different than the book, but I think the positive message was still just as strong. I loved the colors the most though. When I used to read this book as a kid I never even imagined colors that vivid. I am lucky that Blu-rays don’t cost any extra to rent because I am watching all of my movies like this from now on.
