My Thoughts on Rust
I love movies where people return to God. But Rust was completely different than I had expected. It is about a past preacher who comes home to a town he left long ago and sets out on a mission to figure out why a friend was blamed for the murder of a family. I loved the play of events in this movie. In fact as soon as I watched the movie I had to watch it again a second time to make sure I did not miss anything. Rust is a deep movie. You will find that there are people out there that are willing to risk everything for people they never really knew. This movie also allows you to realize that it we should never judge a book by its cover. We may think we know someone by the first look at them. But the truth is do we really know the people around us? I know one thing for sure I may have watched Rust at home alone today. But the next time (and it will be soon) I will make sure my family is here with me. I know there are many points in this story that need to be seen by everyone. We should never give up on the ones we love. We should never give up on God. Even though there are times that it seems he is not there for us the truth is he is walking every step with us. Sometimes we may be angry at the turn of events he places before us. But he cry’s when we cry. He feels everything we feel. What a blessed movie!Buy It!
