Me Time: Positive Day- Peaceful Nights Review and Giveaway ENDED!

As a wife and mom sometimes it is easy for me to get caught up in day to day life. It is hard to find time to relax between laundry, dishes, cooking meals and running the kiddos around! That is why I was super excited when I got the chance to review the CD Me Time: Positive Day-Peaceful Night by Suzanne Jessee!

The Facts

Suzanne Jesseeis a distinguished figure that has helped many women reduce the stress in their lives. She herself was once a victim of stress and panic disorders and after being hospitalized with depression she decided to do something about it! She became inspired to help other women that were feeling as she did. She started researching panic disorders and the prevention of panic disorders. She came up with Escape Anxiety which is made up of seven R’s: Relaxation, Realization, Re-education, Rehabilitation, Reinforcement, Responsibility, and Reassurance.

Suzanne Jessee’s CD’s are made to help everyone deal with every day stress and worry. She helps you with the steps you need to create a peace of mind throughout your days and nights.

My Review

I will be honest with you and say that upon receiving this CD and listening to it, it was much different than I had at first thought. The CD has three parts 1st being the Morning Meditation and Imagery session, 2nd being the Night Meditation and Imagery session, and the 3rd is peaceful music. I was not expecting a Mediation session when I first received this. I was pleasantly surprised on how peaceful it made me. I will say that I had and still have a hard time with the Morning Session. It is hard to find the peaceful time in my house to sit and meditate while I have kids running around. The Night time Meditation is much easier for me to find the time to put my full attention to what I am hearing.

The CD’s are very imaginary and enlightening. I could see myself doing everything that her voice was saying to me. It was very peaceful. Sometimes I have trouble falling asleep at night because I focus too much about the, would of, could of, should of, or worry about how I am going to get all of my to do list done the next day. Suzanne helped me to relax to a point of realizing that none of that mattered and it was time for a peaceful slumber.

In the morning sessions it was uplifting to start the day out in peace. Although I was stopping and starting the CD every time I had to take care of the kids. I still found it inspiring and felt as though I started my day off relaxed, peaceful, and ready to conquer the world! Every time I started to get a little agitated at something the kids did, or stressed out about something I needed to do, I could think back on what I had heard that morning and remember to take a deep breath and be at peace.

All and All I found this to be very uplifting and I know I will be incorporating this into my day to day life and I will also be looking into purchasing her other CD’s as well. I feel that it is important for each of us to learn how to deal with our stress and anxiety. As well as to learn how to find that peace within our self’s!

  1. I am under alot of stress as an ICU nurse, wife of an alcoholic and mom of 2 rambunctius boys. I find that when I lay down at night, all my worries and anxiety seem to come crashing down on me as that is the only time my mind is quiet and seems to run wild. I would love to try this to help get more restful sleep and relieve some stress in my life!

  6. Learned that Suzanne Jesee was hospitalized with severe depression, anxiety, panic disorder and the early stages of agoraphobia (fear of going out in public) and these experiences inspired her to develop the CD.
